It's
summer when I'm writing this, so the best analogy I
can give you deals with going on a
vacation.
If
you think of the writing process as your vehicle to
get to your destination, then think of the
Six-Traits as all the "stuff" you need to
take with you.
The
LEAP21 scoring is directly correlated to the Six-Traits
of writing. Students need the writing process to
get their writing accomplished, but the writing needs to
have the components of the Six-Traits contained within
it.
